Keen Cleaning is an Australian family-owned business which provides cleaning services.

We are committed to providing our products and services in an environmentally sustainable manner that will protect, Improve and enhance our environmental outcomes whilst achieving continual improvement in our overall environmental and energy performance to reduce our carbon footprint.

This commitment includes:

• Prevention of pollution and damage to the environment from our everyday activities.
• Minimising use of natural and non-renewable resources.
• Maximising recycling opportunities and minimising waste.
• Meeting and, where possible, exceeding environmental protection and energy efficiency legislation along with any other relevant legal requirements (such as industry Codes of Practice).
• Working with in-house and external stakeholders to improve our environmental practices and energy management performance.
• Communicating this Policy to all interested parties including staff, customers, contractors, suppliers and the general community.
• Using resources sustainably, minimising the production of greenhouse gases, and protecting biodiversity and ecosystems.
• Continually improving our environmental management system and enhancing environmental performance.
• Conforming to applicable federal, state and local council legislative, regulatory and compliance obligations.

These commitments will be achieved through:

• Training all our managers, employees, contractors and relevant stakeholders in their obligations related to this Policy.
• Providing adequate resources to enable objectives and targets to be met, including required information from which business decisions relating to energy use can be effectively made.
• Accurately measuring, transparently reporting and reducing the carbon footprint of our own operations in addition to pursuing opportunities with our contractors/ clients to increase energy efficiency and management.
• Investigating all environmental incidents and implementing sustainable preventative actions.
